Timing Is Key!

Timing is KEY to buying and selling real estate. We've all heard the old investemnt adage: 'Buy Low & Sell High'. And right now (June 2021), there are deals a-plenty in Commercial Real Estate in the USA. Not so much for residential real estate, where prices have skyrocketed to an all time high. Now (June 2021) would be a great time to SELL Residential Investment Properties (i.e. specific Single Family Homes, Condo Units, etc.) and BUY a Commercial Property or Properties in the USA.

A Great Time To Buy US Dollars

For Foreign Investors, the relavtively low echange reate of the US Dollar for other major currencies, is another great reason to BUY US based assets, like Commercial Real Estate, right now. Low US Treasury and Interest Rates are helping to keep the US Dollar down relative to other currences, but this will not last forever. As productivity increases and as inflation rises, US Interest Rates are likely to rise, increasing investor demand for US Dollsrs, and so driving up the exchange rate between other currncies and the USD. Hence now is a great the best time - from an exchange rate perspective - for foreign investors to jump into the US market.

Very Stable Economy

Sometimes reading Press Headlines, you would think that the US Economy was about to fall off the side of a cliff, and certainly the US has faced it's fair share of challnges ... and no doubt will face more. Long term however, there are few countries that can boast as enduring and as successful an economy as that of the USA. Since it's Declaration of Independance in 1776 and the war that followed, a brutal civil war, two world wars, plenty of smaller wars in between, a world depression, a few recessions, and a global pandemic; the US Economy has continued to bounce back and grow fairly steadily over time. Governments and policies may come and go, markets may swing between 'bulls abd bears' and bubbles may bloom and burst; but the US Economy just keeps chugging along throughs 'ups and downs'. So long term, if you stick in the game though the peaks and lows, investing in US Real Estate and speficially Commercial Real Estate, is likely to continue following its 300+ year historic trend.
